Nausea When Hungry; Causes and Treatments for you

Nausea when hungry. Not eating well will make you nauseous. This is because of the hunger pangs and the build-up of stomach acid. Read on to learn why hunger causes nausea and how to get rid of it.

Why hunger cause nausea

The stomach produces acid to help in the digestion process when you do not eat for a long time acid fills up in your stomach and causes acid reflex and nausea. Treatments for hunger nausea

Your first step is to eat well. If you do not eat for a long time, go with gentle ways to fulfill your nutritional needs. These include

  • Dried fruits such as apricots
  • Protein-rich food such as fish and beans
  • Beverages include low sugar smoothies

If you have intense nausea then immediately consult with your pediatrician because it may lead to serious medical conditions such as 

  • High blood sugar level
  • High blood pressure
  • Abnormal lipid level

  • 24 hours for adult children above than two years
  • Two days for adults

  • Rectal bleeding
  • Fecal odor in your vomiting
